The only known footage of Unknown Place - seen in 1997 Demo Movie - Actual Best Quality - This footage had been slowed down drastically by at least 50%.
The Unknown Place is a scrapped area in LSD: Dream Emulator, featured in the 1997 Demo Movie and nowhere else.
Appearance[]
The Unknown Place has a brick path with green hills that form some kind of maze, roses that pop out of the ground, a rainbow that fades in from left to right, a castle which floats into the sky when looked at, and some non-uniquely textured red and green monsters.
Speculation[]
Some people speculate that the objects seen in this location were recycled into Happy Town assets, such as the lip transition in the beginning being related to the Floating Lips, or the castle being turned into a much larger one where the Prince and Princess reside in the final game.
The castle in the demo movie may have ended up as the Floating Castle in The Natural World (see photo), which features a much more similar model to the demo castle than the one in happy town. In addition, this castle has a rainbow next to it, like the demo movie.

It's unknown if this location was actually going to be used in LSD: Dream Emulator or if it was made just for the demo movie, although the former seems more likely given the amount of time that would have been spent scripting events for the Unknown Place.
