The Natural World is a location in LSD: Dream Emulator. It is a vast outdoor area that connects all the five other main locations via tunnels scattered throughout the area. Its landscape consists of fields of grass, trees, hills, cliffs, forests, deserts, rocky mountains, bridges, rivers and waterfalls. This is the largest location in the game.
Appearance[]
The Natural World is a large grassy area with vast pits, rivers, trees, cliffs and other landmarks. It also features desert and rocky or muddy areas. Some areas are linked with wooden bridges with railings. The trees come in two types, brown, slim trees with sparse green leaves and fir trees. The former trees also come in huge versions. Some bodies of water can be walked over, these lack a ridge at the waters edge. They also have submerged rocks in. A large body of water holds a submerged city underneath a long bridge.
The Natural World has entrances to five main areas in it with square walls surrounding said area. The Bright Moon Cottage entrance is a dark tunnel along a grey wall. The Pit & Temple entrance is a brick tunnel with a brick wall and line of trees. The Violence District entrance is a white tunnel with protrusions on the front and a black winged figure atop it that resembles a car mascot. It is by the Natural World's usual cliffs. The Kyoto entrance is a tall Japanese building along a similarly styled wall, the same style which can be seen inside Kyoto. The Happy Town entrance is a tunnel in a tall, slanted white wall with plants or moss along the top.
Kanji textures change the grass to have blue text, the cliffs to blue with red text, sand to a more orange colour with dark blue text and rock or mud to dark purple with green text. Trees have red leaves and fir trees have dark mustard and purple leaves. The water stays the same colour. Bridges are pink with dark mustard text, the railings are dark pink with blue text. The Bright Moon Cottage entrance is more tinted green with pink text. The Pit & Temple entrance is purple with red text and the trees are purple and red. The Violence District entrance stays the same. The Kyoto entrance is darker with the red pieces replaced with purple with yellow text. The roof is identical but the very top is pink with blue text. The Happy Town entrance is light purple with purple plants and red text.
Downer textures change the grass to a blue and black 3D design, the cliffs a red, blue and green warped pattern, sand to a bright orange that resembles lava, and rock or mud to a shiny teal and black design. Trees have red leaves and the water is pink. Bridges are a red and orange warped design with black railings. The Bright Moon Cottage entrance is dark blue, red and pink. The Pit & Temple entrance is a more warped brick texture with red and green trees. The Violence District entrance only changes the awning styled front, now red, blue and green and warped. The Kyoto entrance is bright red with dark beige walls and a blue roof. The Happy Town entrance is similar to normal textures but with a wavy line texture over it.
Sexual textures change the ground to colourful squares and Happy Town styled faces and cliffs to multicoloured male faces. Trees have purple leaves and fir trees have a similar pattern of squares to the grass. The water is a dark blue-pink. Bridges have multicoloured fists with railings that seem to have a pixellated woman on them. The Bright Moon Cottage entrance is purple with a green and bright pink wall and a distorted yellow and blue pattern. The Pit & Temple entrance has small Happy Town styled faces in squares and red trees. The Violence District entrance only changes the awning styled front, now with a distorted green figure on a teal background. The Kyoto entrance is blue and teal with bright multicoloured infrared style pillars. The walls are multicoloured images of a woman's face. The roof is a distorted man's face. The Happy Town entrance is a cut off Happy Town styled face.
