LSD: Dream Emulator Wiki

The Protagonist of LSD: Dream Emulator is absolutely unknown, since they never appear outside of first person view. The only one who may have been the protagonist however, is the writer herself - Hiroko Nishikawa. Also, the Text Dreams feature stories, which are otherwise not even featured in the Dream Journal at all or may have only been slightly based off of them.

There's a possibility that there was the first Dream Journal (even before the new version of it) from which the writer was taking these stories. As a result, some stories just didn't make it into the final cut.

Protagonist's perspective[]

Protagonist will usually only see the world from their own eyes. There is never a point in LSD: Dream Emulator, in which there would be a showcase of how the protagonist looks. The protagonist can only walk and run, look at things and occasionally, can use something (as if using something or if by magic) out of complete thin air, presumably like a hand gesture of pointing (or somewhere similar). Examples of these are "killing" the wolf and the gunman by pressing the O button. The O button can also be used to trigger an event as well, like the Train.
