The Moonlight Tower is a secondary location in LSD: Dream Emulator, a sublocation of Kyoto. It has many flights of spiral stairs leading to a balcony. There is always a large full moon a few feet away from the top of the tower.
The Moonlight Tower is known for the shortest dream duration in the game. It has the lowest spawning TU value (900) among all the existing locations in the game, forcing the dream to be approximately only one minute long. The dream duration is chosen by the starting location, so that if linked from any other location, the timer won't be affected. The dream duration might be slightly stretched out through frequent linking and lower FPS values.
Bumping into the railing at the top will cause a normal Dynamic Link, and so will the walls indoors.
In Kyoto, the Moonlight Tower is visible among the buildings. The walls of the tower and a whole building around will link the player inside. These walls and the Bunny are the only two documented links to Moonlight Tower.
Appearance[]
Objects[]
Winged Minotaur[]
Occasionally, the Winged Minotaur spawns, flying around the tower. It's impossible to reach the creature in this state, but if spawned close while the player is near the railing at the back of the balcony, there is a opportunity to be 'drawn' towards the Minotaur, forcing a link and transporting the player to the Black Space.
Trivia[]
- The red text on the walls of the inside of the tower with kanji/logic textures read "風林火山", meaning "As swift as wind, as quiet as the forest, as daring as fire, and as immovable as a mountain", which comes from Sun Tzu's The Art of War.
